Megyn Kelly invited Baltimore Black Lives Matter activist DeRay Mckesson to the Monday’s night edition of The Kelly File to discuss the acquittal of Edward Nero, one of the cops involved in the death of Freddie Gray in April 2015.

DeRay reminded Megyn that Freddie Gray was thrown in the back of a police van and later emerged from it with a broken spine.

When DeRay asked Megyn if she thinks Gray should be dead, she couldn’t find an answer to that and instead asked DeRay: “Don’t you see the danger to the community if we start locking up cops for exercising poor judgment?”

The answer is hell yes. If we lock up police officers who make poor judgment, we will end up with decent cops. That’s what we’re fighting for.
